Medical conference for physicians: The Skin Spectrum Summit, now in its seventh successful year, is a landmark educational congress of healthcare professionals committed to providing better dermatologic care for Canada's diverse population. This March, organizers are holding a special session of the Summit to address specific challenges in treating Canada's Indigenous community.
The first Indigenous Skin Spectrum Summit will seek to improve healthcare practitioners cultural competence and will provide practical advice on treating Indigenous patients. Coinciding with National Close the Gap Day, a day of action in support of achieving Indigenous health equality.
The 2021 Indigenous Skin Spectrum Summit, will be a two-part virtual online program.
The Curriculum Chairs of the 2021 Skin Spectrum Summit is Dr. Rachel Asiniwasis and
Dr. Gary Sibbald.
Credits: This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 5.25 Mainpro+ credits. A certificate will be emailed to you after the Summit
